Drafting Fundamentals - How to Divide a Line Segment Into Several Parts Using Autocad 2004

This article will explain how to employ AutoCAD 2004 to divide a line segment into several segments or parts. Let us say in the interest of arguments that I work as a technical draughtsman in a factory some share and I obtained where I must divide a line into several equal divisions. It is not very difficult to do it in AutoCAD by using the arrangement of OSNAP (rupture of object). The best manner so that I do this without using a computer would be so that I trace the line which must be divided. And then for me go to the tools lower the menu and click on arrangements and the open space of drafting all the boxes of control except that beside the node. Now I am ready to employ to it the my divided order. Still, there is more than the one-way to call the ordering of division. I could one or the other type "to divide me" on the line of order or to go to the aspiration to lower the menu and to click the point and then selected to divide. When the ordering of division is in activi! ty I am invited to choose the object to divide. After choice of my line I am asked for the number of segments or block. I write the number of segments which I want and the pressure enter and it proves that nothing occurred, but AutoCAD put a node at divisions of segment. Very that I must make east now calls my line orders and lights my OSNAP and traces my lines of the nodes and there I make divide my line into as many segments while I need or want.
