Booking a Holiday, Tour or Vacation in Jordan

In my capacity as the UK director of operations for One World Tours Limited, I am often asked about the destinations I was at the. I try to give a good opinion on these locations and offer useful tips. The following are my suggestions for the sites to take during your holiday in Jordan. Other countries bordering Israel are Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the Syrian Arab Republic. The Red Sea is in the south west of the country, with the Dead Sea, north west. The hills in the north west of Amman are both cultivated and covered with forests. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth and is famous for salt water that keeps you in a sitting position, without you let it sink. It connects to the River Jordan with Israel s? End of Lake Tiberias. To the east of the Jordan, you will find mostly desert and the only small coastal zone can be found on the Red Sea coast. A high plateau stretching from the Syrian Arab Republic to Ras en Naqab, in the south. Amman is known as the White City! because of its stone houses. The people of Amman are very warm and helpful and are proud to show their historical sites and modern. There are some beautiful old markets selling spices and handicrafts. The city also offers art galleries, museums and restaurants. You can find here the Citadel, which is one of the first fortifications of Jordan and has been the subject of many excavations. Remains from the Neolithic period, Hellenestic term and the end of the Roman Arabic Islamic Age have been found here. Some of the structures include the Temple of Hercules, the Omayyad Palace and the Byzantine church. The Roman theater is at the foot of the citadel and is still used for cultural events today. A small coastal area known as Aqaba can be found on the Red Sea coast. You can take part in a host of water sports, jet skiing, sailing etc. while enjoying the crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. Fortunately, the waters boast well-preserved for coral reefs, which was well know! n and its only sea life, this port city of the Red Sea is an i! deal pla ce to sunbathe and relax. As the small but beautiful coastline you find Aqaba? Lands historic brand, the Fort Mamluke. Petra is an ancient city and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions Jordan. Petra is now a UNESCO world heritage sites that inspired tourists in the world because of its architecture and the huge ingenious complex of dams and water channels. Petra is located in the heart of a narrow gorge, in the desert, is accessible through a half mile abyss. Perhaps because of this fantasy is why "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was filmed here. There are a multitude of activities to have a party as such in walking and climbing, or you can experience many buildings, tombs, baths, temples, drawings and rocks. The King's Highway through the forest of the mountains, deep ravines, in the eastern desert and farmland plains. Archaeological sites line both sides of 208-mile highway. It is one of the world? Older ways and has been mentioned in the Bible as Moses route ! used to drive his vulgar of Edom (south of Jordan). If you want to hit the road in modern times, then I suggest renting a car in Amman and Aqaba is the easiest thing to do.It may take 2 or 3 days, but it is also very interesting and it is in this place is an ampleness of installations en route to make their journey easier and more enjoyable.
